Erdem Adilce Becomes the New Kuzey Alazlı in Sevdam Karadeniz
Casting preparations continue for the highly anticipated Turkish drama Sevdam Karadeniz, and one of the biggest questions surrounding the project has finally been answered.
After recent changes to the lead cast, fans have been eagerly waiting to find out who would take on the main roles. Now, producer Banu Akdeniz has made her decision regarding the male lead.

The series is being produced by Mia Yapım for NOW TV.
Banu Akdeniz, who previously helped launch the careers of Akın Akınözü and Ebru Şahin through the hit series Hercai, has chosen Erdem Adilce as the new male lead of Sevdam Karadeniz.
⭐ From supporting lead to main star
Interestingly, Erdem Adilce had originally been cast for the secondary male lead role of Barva Yeniceli.
However, after further evaluations, the production team promoted him to the main role, where he will now portray Kuzey Alazlı, one of the central characters of the story.
Adilce recently attracted attention with his performance in the series Delikanlı, and this new opportunity is expected to be a major step forward in his career.
📍 Filming begins in July
Production for Sevdam Karadeniz is scheduled to begin in July in Trabzon, specifically in the district of Maçka.
Meanwhile, the search for the female lead is nearing completion. Unless there is another last-minute change, the actress who will star opposite Erdem Adilce is expected to be officially announced very soon.
