The highly anticipated Turkish drama series ABI (The Family Is the Test) premieres tomorrow, bringing a powerful story of family conflict, ambition, and unresolved pasts to the screen.

In the first episode, viewers meet Dogan, a successful surgeon from Izmir who has deliberately kept his distance from his family for years. His return to Istanbul for his sister’s wedding soon turns into a confrontation with a past he tried hard to escape.

🔹 A ruthless struggle for control

The Hancioglu family is torn apart by internal power struggles. On one side stands Tahir, the authoritarian father determined to maintain control, while on the other is Sinan, Dogan’s ambitious brother, willing to cross any line to secure his position.

Dogan’s arrival disrupts the fragile balance within the family and triggers a chain of events that will permanently alter everyone’s destiny.

At the same time, Cagla, a young and principled lawyer, enters the story. Guided by a strong sense of justice, she becomes entangled in the family’s chaos due to her older brother Behram, leading to an unexpected and fateful connection with Dogan.

Unforeseen developments force Dogan to remain close to his family longer than planned, and the episode ends with strong hints of deep conflicts, dark secrets, and emotional breakdowns yet to come.
